The CellCiphr™ Cellular Models of Disease products and services line includes proprietary reagents, cell lines, assays, and profiling services that apply the principles of Cellular Systems Biology (CSB™) to human cellular models of disease, making them sufficiently robust to enable lead generation for novel, multi-factorial, or previously intractable targets.
Cellumen has developed advanced reagents that "measure" and "manipulate" cellular constituents such as CellCiphr™ Interaction Biosensors (sensitive protein-protein interaction biosensors) and CellCiphr™ Gene Switched Proteins (cell models with tightly regulated gene expression). Data generated from Cellular Models of Disease are integrated using CellCiphr™ Profiles. Profile read-outs compare key system responses that improve the quantity and quality of leads.
How do you use the products and services line?
- Cellumen will work with the collaborator's scientific staff to define a work plan or can propose a solution and work plan independently.
- Cellumen will design the optimal, multiplexed assay using either commercially available reagents and/or Cellumen proprietary reagents.
- Cellumen will support either the complete transfer of the program to the collaborator for their subsequent in-house use or will perform larger profiling screens as an outsourcing service collaboration.
